Every plan includes regular security updates: PHP version, WordPress core, themes and plugins. Updates are tested in a staging environment before going to the live site. Backup frequency depends on the plan: Basic offers regular backups, Business and Premium plans include automatic daily backups.
What does the backup include and how is it restored?
The backup includes the full database, all files (WordPress core, plugins, themes), the media library and configuration files. Data is stored in multiple locations using cloud-based storage. Restoration takes 1–4 hours when needed — for downtime-causing incidents I begin recovery immediately.
How quickly do you respond to urgent issues?
I respond to standard requests within 24 hours. For urgent cases (hacked website, full downtime, data loss) I react immediately and begin recovery — usually restoring the site within 2–4 hours. 24/7 uptime monitoring alerts me automatically if the site goes offline, so I often start fixing issues before the client even notices.
What types of websites do you maintain?
I maintain WordPress websites and webshops (WooCommerce), custom PHP applications, and React/Next.js websites. Most of my clients use WordPress, where I have the most experience. If your site uses a different technology, I assess it during the free consultation and confirm whether I can help.
Is there a minimum contract period, and how do I cancel?
There is no minimum contract period, though the best results come from longer-term collaboration. The service can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice. Upon cancellation, I hand over all access credentials and help with migration to another provider if needed.
What is the difference between hosting and website maintenance?
Hosting only provides the physical server space — it keeps the server running but doesn't look after your website's software, security or content. Website maintenance is much more: it includes software updates, security checks, performance optimisation, bug fixes and content updates. The plans I offer include hosting as well.
How does the free migration work?
Migration is free and completely seamless — you don't need to do anything. I handle the entire process: backup from the original host, transfer to the new server, DNS configuration, SSL activation and testing. The original site keeps running throughout, with no noticeable downtime at the moment of switchover.
Do I receive a detailed monthly report of work done?
Business and Premium plans include a detailed end-of-month report: list of updates applied, number and size of backups, uptime statistics, PageSpeed score trends, and — where the plan includes SEO monitoring — a summary of ranking changes. Basic plan clients can request a summary on demand.
